1) What is your normal hourly rate?
Our normal hourly rate is £49 per hour.
We do not charge a call out rate like some other companies, we only charge as soon as we get to your property and from the moment we arrive.
We also offer discounts for OAP’s and contracted clients
2) Do you charge for travel time?
We do not charge for travel time, we only charge when we have arrived at your property
3) Do you charge for overtime?
We do not charge for overtime, although there is a slight increase in the hourly rate on an evening and at weekends
4) If you give me a quote, will you ever exceed that price?
No, if we give you a quote, that price will be adhered to.
All quotes will describe what work will be undertaken. If additional works are found to be needed, these will not be carried out until we have full consent from whoever is paying the bill
5) What is your normal response time?
We try and respond within an hour, but occasionally we will fail to attend within the hour so a same day attendance will offered to the customer
If we are running behind schedule, our office will ring the customer to let them know an approx time of arrival.
We also try and fit in with customer’s schedules, so if a customer would like us to attend at a particular time, then we will try our best to adhere to that time.
6) Are you a Gas Safe contractor?
Yes, all our gas engineers are contracted to gas safe.
Our Gas Safe registration number is 11595
7) Do you have insurance should anything go wrong?
Yes, we have insurance if in the worst case scenario, anything does go wrong.
We are covered up to £5million
8) What if I need something done in an emergency and you don’t have the parts on your van?
My engineers carry a wide variety of materials and parts in their vans but obviously they cannot carry every part. If for some unfortunate reason, the engineer has not got the required part, we will make everything safe before re-attending with the required part as soon as possible.
9) Are your plumbers sub-contractors or are they employees of the company?
All our plumbers are direct employees of Plumbcare Yorkshire Ltd.
We do not employ sub contractors.
If for some reason, we have to have any building or electrical work done, then these 2 trades are subcontracted out to our reputable contractors
10) What payment methods does your company accept?
We only accept cash or debit/credit cards.
In a worst case scenario, cheques will be accepted.
